The Orphan's Arms | womenswear, menswear
‘A quintessentially English label that harks back to a time of gin palaces and poor houses’
Hand-printing in East London, Joshua Wilks and Jay Shipley founded The Orphan’s Arms in the early Summer of 2010 with the solid conscience to create a label that anchors itself uniquely within a context of English heritage and culture.
From humble beginnings at East London’s Brick Lane market, The Orphan’s Arms have experienced a fantastic response to their poignant and reactionary motif. Utilising their own Romantically English ideals coupled with an ever present singular wit, they set about creating a rigorous collection of totally unique prints, each totally indicative to the ‘Old World’ heritage style they set out to preserve.
